fashion show

ayoko ng isipin kung gaano kalayo ang nilakad namin ni rosela today. parang mula binangonan yata hanggang pasig e. haha. anyway, walang saysay ang mga location shooting namin na chinatown at espalande sapagkat either walang battery or hindi matimpla ang kulay. what the heck. nagfashion show ako sa bahay ni susette. naexcite ako at nakalimutan ko ang EP issues ko. haha. :)

asian civilization museum

itong, acm, matagal ko na tong tinatarget puntahan. noong unang punta ko pa lang sa sg, gusto ko nang puntahan, except ang stressful nung directions sa gothere. so di bale na lang. and then lo and behold, i saw it last saturday noong una akong magjogging by the river. siyempre naexcite ako. so i researched, at nalaman ko na discounted ang tickets pag friday. from 10 sgd, 4 sgd na lang. o di ba winner. may pambili ako ng souvenir na kuti kuti. basta some games from sumatra. maliliit na animals, maraming fish akong nakita. go, for 2.50 sgd a bag, i bought 2. pinoy yung nagbenta sa kin, na natatamad na kasi 9 pm na ayaw pa umalis ng mga tao. haha.

so anyway, since tumila ang ulan, go ako to where the river calls me, and how can i resist naman acm with the discounted tickets? so hindi muna ako nakipagkita kay merlion my good friend today. hanggang acm lang ang path ko. haha.



dahil uso ngayon ang mga intellectual property issues, hindi sa kin ang pictures, nagoogle ko lang. kasi nga di ba, bakit ako magdadala ng camera habang nagjojogging. rolling eyes. that done, on with the kwento.

ok naman ang acm, hindi masyadong scary saka interactive. nagsulat ako ng arabic, gumawa ng puzzles, nakinig sa mga my name is china stories, naglaro ng indian computer games, saka nanood kung pano gumawa ng blue and white vases from vietnam. ang cool. naexcite ako sobra. haha.

pero naisip ko, wala akong nakitang philippines sa southeast asia. more on the earlier era yung nandun, mga sumatra, java, et al. isip ko, the whole southeast asia, parang pwedeng philippines e. kasi yung mga boats, yung mga damit, yung mga ornaments, parang meron nun dito. melting pot ang philippines no, narealize ko. saka yung mga muslim muslim dun covering west asia, duh, meron din nun sa philipines, yung mga mosque and the garments.

i think i liked the west asia and the south asia bit the best. kasi ang ganda ng mga woodworks. hello india and arabia. how can you not like. although ok din ang china. hindi ko makalimutan, when you enter that gallery, may nakalagay, my name is china. ang cool! :)

i also loved this window sa south asia gallery. parang ang ganda if your windows are like this, in contrast sa white walls. wow.

late post: daniella's bday

this was last sunday, 7th birthday ni daniella sa mcdonald's khatib. sama sama dun lahat ng tao. haha. nasstress yung officemates ni ate otek, bakit daw ang dami naming mgakakamag-anak. parang sa bilibiran lang. kulang na lang si tito boy, the barangay captain. haha. mommy, ayaw yata ni daniella dun sa green na dress na bigay mo, its soo itchy daw. haha. nastress si tita belle. rozela, give me copies of the pictures from your magandang camera.

late post: sona 2010

this was last monday, sa sona ni noynoy. excited ako. haha. closet noynoy kami e. nung election, may yellow ribbon kami sa loob ng kotse. nahuli ni andrea. haha. pero even though in my heart gusto ko si noynoy, si gibo pa rin ang binoto ko. haha. loyal ako. saka hindi ko makalimutan yung " kun sa inyo na huna-huna" speech niya.

but anyway, dahil walang tfc si suzette, nakipag-appointment talaga ako kay tita baby na manood ng noynoy sa kanila since meron silang kapuso channel. haha. she wants eat bulaga e, more than tfc kaya kapuso siya. so there, pumunta ako dun and watched noynoy, in all my yellow shirt glory.



at kagaya ng nasabi ko sa facebook, the whole time i was listening to his "we can dream again" speech, ang isyu ko lang, my god, he looks a lot better. i loved his haircut, and his barong. actually, cute na siya. hahha. looks younger than his age.

jewel of muscat

tuloy pa rin ang levie the explorer days ko dito sa somerset. although second time ko na yung ruta today, which is kim yam, robertson quay, clarke quay, boat quay, all the way to esplanade, and back. the first time was last saturday.

walang pictures kasi hindi naman ako nagdadala ng camera pag nagjojogging. duh. all in all, i think two hours ung jogging ko. actually hindi naman talaga jogging kasi parang patigil tigil naman ako. but im sure mas mabilis ako today than last saturday.

saka nag omani-singapore friendship tour pa ko e. at nanood ng story ng jewel of muscat sa 360 theater ng asian civilizations museum. ang cool. may libreng arabic coffee, na nilalagyan ng cardammon, which according to the national museum, ay second most expensive spice in the world. ang sosyal naman nila. anyway, ang most expensive ay saffron, but alam ko na un dati pa.



yung jewel of muscat, parang meron na nito sa pilipinas, balangay project yung tawag nila. i just didnt know kung ano ng nangyari at kung nasan na siya ngayon. but the jewel of muscat, is a boat na gaya nung boat in the 9th century, na in this day and age ay ginawa nila without nails and boats. the materials daw are from africa, india and oman. bah, ok ah. mukhang natatandaan ko pinuntahan ko kanina. basta parang binebenta nila yung oman, forward looking nation daw, progressive and very much like singapore. poetry and perfume daw ang meron sila. bah, ok ah. except middle east pa rin yun. wahaha. scary.

anyway, gabi na ko nakajogging dahil pumunta pa ko ng fuji xerox bldg sa tanjong pagar. grabe. rolling eyes. kinuha ko ung mga accessories ng camera ni rozela. duh. binili na nga ng camera, inutusan pa. duh. i need a free dinner.

fort canning

dahil hindi pa ko pumapasok sa work at lahat ng office ko ay nasa asean meeting, wala akong ginagawa these days kung hindi manood ng korean dramas. kaya nageexplore ako sa mga areas near somerset. para memorize ko na. im sure stressful na naman pag may work na ko. haha. ang sabi ko nga kay gso, nasstress ako anticipating the stressful days in the future. im really crazy, i know.

at today nga, i walked for three hours. nakakainip actually. anyway, i walked from kim yam to the natonal museum. at siyempre, sinama ko na din ang fort canning na parang intramuros nila. except super liit grabe. inikot ikot ko siya ng mga dalawang oras kasi i saw sa national museum na free pag 6 pm. before that, 10 dollars. sayang ang 300 pesos ko. haha. so i just waited. nakita ko ang spice garden with all the peppers, and the rain tree. anyway, the rain tree, nalaman ko na the leaves of the rain tree fold up before it rains. o di ba. and then i saw the house stamford raffles built. ang liit sobra. thats all i can think talaga. basta, ang peg ko kasi intramuros, so parang nasstress ako sa fort canning.

although merong archaeology site. ang cool. sabi doon, living site ang fort canning kaya walang intact na artifacts. usually daw kasi ung may mga intact artifacts, mga burial grounds etc. eh ang fort canning was never that. duh, dun nga tumira si stamford before e.

and then wala, i just walked and walked. nasa clark quay na naman ako, city hall without me knowing it. paikot ikot lang dito.

and then the national museum, ang stressful ng fashion gallery. kasi madilim tas puro salamin, i swear to god, feeling ko may multo. hahha. but i loved that photography gallery, and that bit on interracial marriage, of the australian girl and chinese guy in the 1960s. ang cool. guess whos coming to dinner ito. except totong buhay. saka wala, they love each other. aww.

how it all started

one day in april habang super crazy ang buhay ko, tumawag ako sa mommy ko, and she passed the phone to my cousin who works in sg. nataranta ako, why is she back?!

katenka: omg. natanggal ka sa trabaho?
ozeck: duh. hindi. one week vacation lang.
katenka: omg. suspended ka. what did you do?
ozeck: oa ka, vacation.
katenka: ako, busy ako. ikwento mo na ng mabilis.
ozeck: VACATION NGA. gusto mo, magbakasyon ka din sa akin, pag hindi ka na busy.
katenka: ok. sige na. may tumatawag sa kin.

and so after the hoopla, i decided to go to sg. to forget the results. to celebrate my birthday. to lose the extra pounds. to visit universal studios. to have a vacation.

and then, in a sudden twist of fate, lots of prayers, and big brother moments, dito na ko magwowork. ang cool!
